Our hostel is situated in a quiet, elevated position on the Terrassenweg, slightly above the village centre of Grindelwald at 1130 m above sea level. Directly in front of the house is the bus stop “Naturfreundehaus” as well as our own parking spaces. You can reach us as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public transportation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Train<\/a> from Interlaken to Grindelwald (every half hour),
Bus Nr. 122<\/a>\u00a0from Grindelwald railway station in direction of Klusi \/ Bodmi to the stop \u201cNaturfreundehaus\u201d directly in front of our doors; with the guest card you travel free with all local buses. Last departure from Grindelwald railway station 18.44 hrs, in winter 19.44 hrs.
The hostel can be reached by foot in approx. 15 minutes from Grindelwald station (signposted) -> steep ascent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Car<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Via Interlaken to the Naturefriends Hostel Grindelwald (parking spaces: CHF 10.00 \/ day and car). Please note that in winter, depending on snow conditions, there is a snow chain obligation (or all wheel drive) on the last 300 metres to the Naturefriends Hostel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Via Interlaken to Grindelwald community car park (parking next to Hotel Schweizerhof, at the train station). No access to the Naturfreundehaus (no driving).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
