Already decades ago guests have discovered this beautiful spot earth, Grindelwald. With its trump cards – the Eiger North Face and the Jungfraujoch, Top of Europe – the former glacier village has an enchanting mountain landscape that enjoys worldwide tourist prestige. In Grindelwald you can experience an intact nature and a lived customs very closely.
The Naturfreunds House is ideally located for various offers. In winter, the ski bus takes you directly from the Naturfreundehaus in three minutes to the children’s ski paradise Bodmi, where the piste leads directly to the valley station of the First cable car. In four minutes you also reach the bus station Gaggi Säge in the direction of the tobogganing paradise Bussalp, where the longest toboggan run in the world (16 km) awaits you.
In summer you can saddle your bike or put on your hiking boots and start directly from the front door. We are also the stage location of the 390 km long Via Alpina, the classic among the Swiss long-distance hiking trails.
